CASS marries the tactility and sensitivity of the arts and crafts approach with knowledge of finishing and fabrication technologies to help you make innovative and meaningful products that align with your brand or purpose. Using free hand sketches and models to clearly demonstrate the workability of a design, CASS helps you circumvent conceptual blind spots by testing how your ideas will hold up in a wider, real-life context.

Werner, Co-founder
Athi, Co-founder
Hybrid industrial and design engineer, Werner Sigg has created illuminated architectural installations and feature walls, screening and partition systems as well as hardware and lighting products for some of the world’s most trusted architectural installation providers and celebrated architects in Europe and Asia. He has also designed stunning 3D interior and exterior facades for luxury retailers.
Werner has an intuitive understanding of materiality, form and function and is skilled at developing and refining concepts and mock-ups for products and installations that require a high level of artistry and engineering skills to produce.
Werner’s creativity is tempered by clear-minded, pragmatism – he knows exactly what’s required for high quality production and what end-users need, so he focuses on these key elements in his work.
Paper engineer and paper artist, Athi Premlumleark spent much of her career creating awe-inspiring pop-up books, greeting cards, paper packaging materials and novelty paper goods.
Designing with batch printing in mind, Athi always seeks technical interventions that will make the production process more efficient and economical for her clients. Familiar with the ins and outs of the printing and publishing industry, Athi serves as consultant to publishers, printers and paper mills requiring products and solutions that are exciting and innovative but also viable to assemble and of excellent quality.
With her extensive knowledge of hand assembly, die-cutting and paper finishing techniques, Athi is
an adroit problem-solver who serves as intermediary between client and manufacturer.

Espresso & Cigarette Publisher Thailand has just launched two new titles: CATS and Until Only Me. The striking cover designs were created by Athi from CASS.
Featuring a clean, minimal aesthetic, the designs capture the essence of each story while maintaining a distinctive visual identity. Athi worked closely with the publisher throughout the entire process: from initial concept development to final print-ready files, ensuring every detail was perfected.

Introducing a brand-new children's book format by CASS!
Penguin Junior Germany has just released two exciting children's books in August 2023, "Mein Zauberklappen-Buch - Mach mit auf dem Bauernhof!" and "Mein Zauberklappen-Buch - Mach mit in der Autowerkstatt!" These books are the result of a collaboration between CASS and Penguin Junior.

The outcome? These innovative books are both engaging and budget-friendly, making them stand out in the market.

Athi co-developed this project with arsEdition's inhouse team in 2022 and was involved right from the beginning - she was the leading mind behind research, guidance on artwork, creation of die-cut files for illustrators, designing of contours and the establishment of the pre-production setting.
The result was one big, happy project for all involved!
​Now launched at the beginning of 2023 in Germany.
